The U.S. Futsal Northeast Regional Championship comes down to a Massachusetts match-up |
 Monday, February 18 marked the end of the three-day Northeast Regional U.S. Futsal Tournament held in Wildwood, New Jersey. Over 4,000 players and fans packed their favorite futsal gear and headed to the snow-ridden Jersey Coast to watch nearly 200 teams battle for a spot at the Nationals.Open Men’s Tournament ChampionsMassachusetts-based Safira was victorious in the Open Men’s Final Monday afternoon, kicking fellow statesmen the Expos to the curb. The Open Men’s Category attracted the largest fanbase over the weekend with parents and young players alike crowding around the small basketball-sized court. |

U.S. Futsal, has been Governing the sport of Futsal in the United States since 1981, and has been sponsoring state, regional and national tournaments since 1985. U.S. Futsal, is the only futsal organization directly affiliated to U.S. Soccer!

Futsal’s finest to hit the Jersey Shore |
 Northeast Futsal fans will convene on the Jersey Shore February 16-18 in Wildwood, New Jersey to watch nearly 200 teams vie for a bid to Nationals. The Northeast Regional Tournament, sponsored by futsal’s governing body U.S. Futsal, is expected to draw players from over 10 eastern states and fans from around the region. For the third year in a row, the Wildwood Convention Center will host the tournament that features both male and female athletes spanning several age groups. The youngest players will compete in the U-8 division, the oldest in National Open Men and National Open Women. Former professional indoor players as well as former college players are expected to compete in the Open Men category. Teams from each division will compete for their winning titles in hopes of advancing to the National Tournament, scheduled for July 18-21 on the opposite coast in Anaheim, CA. |

U.S. FUTSAL PRESS RELEASE October 16, 2012  PACIFIC FUTSAL CUP, Concludes After Six Days of Intense Competition!
Set against the stunning backdrop of the City of San Francisco, the 2012 Pacific Cup drew to a close today with the United States, Australia and Mexico all sharing in the honors.
The 6-day tournament for Pacific Futsal Cup, was played out at the College of San Mateo and fans were treated to some spectacular futsal from the men, women and youth teams of all participating countries.
The Pacific Futsal Cup kicked off on the 9th October, and it was obvious from the opening match, that there were going to be some tough tussles and big battles between the countries, with so many of the teams equally matches in skill, speed and tactics. |
